About this tour

Dubai and Barbados are polar opposites as property markets — and that's what makes this tour useful. Dubai offers scale, liquidity, tax efficiency, and a buyer pool of 500,000 annual transactions. Barbados offers scarcity, blue-water lifestyle, British legal tradition, and a buyer community so small that knowing the right person matters enormously.

The Gulf & Caribbean Sprint is for buyers who have genuinely been considering both. By Day 5 you will have seen both markets's premium residential product and can make a direct comparison on price, lifestyle, return potential, and exit liquidity — the four factors that most define a good second-home decision.

Your tour guide
Rania Al Farsi + Marcus Holloway
Emirates Luxury Estates (Dubai) + Caribbean Estates Group (Barbados)

The Gulf & Caribbean Sprint is the most logistically ambitious of HHT's tours — two continents, two completely different legal systems, and two entirely different buyer communities. Rania and Marcus both lead their respective days; the HHT editorial team provides the cross-market comparison framework that ties the week together.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 — Wednesday 10 Mar

Day 2 — Thursday 11 Mar
Dubai Viewings

Four Dubai properties across three locations: Palm (AED 4.5M villa), Downtown (AED 2.1M apartment), Dubai Marina (AED 1.4M condo), Creek Harbour (AED 1.8M off-plan). Golden Visa briefing from Rania.

Day 3 — Friday 12 Mar
Dubai to Barbados

Morning free in Dubai. Afternoon Emirates flight to Barbados via London (arrives Barbados evening). Transfer to west coast hotel. Marcus Holloway meets the group for a welcome rum punch debrief.

Day 4 — Saturday 13 Mar
Barbados West Coast Viewings

Four Barbados properties: Paynes Bay villa (USD 1.1M), Sandy Lane adjacent apartment (USD 760k), Holetown townhouse (USD 640k), and a west coast beachfront plot (USD 520k). Barbados legal and tax briefing with Marcus.

What past attendees say

I came sceptical and left with a signed reservation. The local partner knew every corner of the market — including deals that never reach the portals.

R.M. · London

Six viewings in four days, all pre-vetted. No time-share pressure, no developer sales rooms. Just real properties with honest pricing.

P. & A. Chen · Singapore

The group dynamic surprised me — twelve serious buyers comparing notes creates a remarkably useful signal on what's genuinely worth pursuing.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before reserving your seat.

Do I need a visa for this destination?+

Visa requirements depend on your passport. We send pre-departure guidance with current entry rules to all confirmed attendees. Most destinations offer visa-on-arrival or e-visa for major passport holders.

What happens to my deposit if I change my mind?+

Your deposit is fully refundable up to 8 weeks before departure, no questions asked. After that, we work with you to defer your place to a future tour in the same region.

Can solo travellers join?+

Absolutely — around a third of our attendees travel solo. Tours are structured around property viewings and expert sessions, not couples activities. Solo travellers consistently tell us it's a highlight of the experience.

Are properties developer-pushed, or genuinely curated?+

We are strictly buyer-side. No developer pays to have their property on our itinerary. Every viewing has been independently sourced and pre-vetted by our local partner for title, planning status, and realistic pricing.

How are flights and hotels handled?+

Flights are booked independently — we send a preferred routing guide 8 weeks before departure. Ground transport, accommodation during viewings, and curated meals are all included in the tour price.
